Manousos and Zafeiris have a timber business in the mountains of Crete and are now in the happy position of getting a very good job. So Manousos moves to Athens in order to buy the necessary tools as well as to propose to Eleni on beha of his friend. However, he learns from her cousin Katina that she is already married. In the meantime, he falls in love with Katina but she does not reveal to him that she has a twin sister who sings in a nightclub. One night, he sees Katina's twin sister running at the port, chased by her boyfriend, and he believes that it is Katina.
